How we handle your personal information.

This summary is provided for transparency and does not replace legal advice. Slate and Sage is a small business and may not be required by law to comply with all aspects of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), but we choose to handle personal information in line with the spirit of the Australian Privacy Principles.

When you submit a form or contact us, we collect personal information such as your name, contact details and details about your property goals and preferences. We collect this information so we can respond to your enquiry, provide buyers advocacy services, manage our relationship with you and meet our business and legal record keeping requirements.

We store personal information in our email system and internal records. We may also store information with other service providers we use in our business, such as website hosting and email providers. Where possible we choose providers that store information in Australia. If we use providers that store information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information securely.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with professional advisers or service providers where needed to deliver services you have requested, for example connecting you with a mortgage broker, solicitor or building and pest inspector, or where required by law.

You can contact us at enquiries@slateandsage.com.au to request access to the personal information we hold about you or to ask for a correction if you believe it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us and we will aim to work through it with you.
